fibre 1 - Helping you get your Daily Requirement (& it's tasty too) #Fibre1ACD

As many of you know fibre is an important part of our diet, but it is often hard to get what we need during the day. I able to try the new fibre 1 Almond & Cluster Delight before it is available in stores. I have to say it is delicious and not what I expected. When I think of a cereal that offers 40% of my daily fibre requirement I think of one that tastes like cardboard. This one exceeded my expectations.

Hallmark and your June Celebrations

This month is busy for many families. Father's Day is just around the corner and many have graduations and proms happening. My little one is just finishing here first year of school so we won't be using this Graduation Pack just yet. It certainly is a neat way to capture lots of memories though. 

There also is a Pics N' Props for Dads too. Why not take some great pictures with the kids and give these to Dad? 

Father's Day - Book Ideas from DK Canada

Not sure what to get Dad this year. Books are a hit with a lot of people. Maybe one of these great books in the DK library would be one your Dad or GrandDad would like.

Do It Yourself

We are not very handy in our house. Thankfully our house is new, but I am sure soon enough we will need to do something. This book by Jon Eakes will definitely be something we will use. It explains everything in simple steps and has great pictures to accompany the instructions.  I am actually hoping that a small repair pops up soon, so I can do it myself. Nothing major just something easy. I will be sure to let you know.

This book would be great for the Dad who thinks is a handyman, but really isn’t.

Disney Junior - What's Happening in June

Disney Junior often keeps my little one occupied and learning while I am getting supper after a busy day of work and school. With just one month of school left for the little one and the weather finally turning nice there are still times we like to relax and watch one of her favourite shows. I like how I do not have to worry about offensive commercials popping up while we watch this channel and I know the programs are appropriate for children. Coming up in June there are some new programs and of course all our favourites will still be there.

New on Disney Junior in June:

THE WIZARD OF DIZZ

Saturday, June 8 at 5 p.m.

In this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse special one-hour episode, Minnie and Pluto get swept up in a big wind, landing in the strange and wonderful land of “Dizz.” As they search for a way back home, they encounter some familiar friends along the way including Goofy the Scarecrow, the Tin Mouse and Donald the Lion.

HENRY’S ROARSOME ALL NEW FOR YOU WEEK

Monday, June 3 to Friday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Disney Junior welcomes in the month of June with a roarsome week of new Henry Hugglemonster episodes daily at 5:30 p.m. Viewers can join Henry as he explores the cheerful town of Roarsville and learns lessons about family and community.

FUN & GAMES WITH SOFIA AND JAMES

Classic Knits {Book Review}

I love to knit. It is so relaxing and it is great to finish a project and see what I have accomplished. My Grandmother taught me when I was very young and it is something I hope my little one wants to learn when she is bigger. She likes to help me know and always has lots of requests for items she would like for herself and her dolls.
